Η Ομοσπονδία Εργοδοτών & Βιομηχάνων (ΟΕΒ) σας ενημερώνει ότι η Γενική Διεύθυνση Γεωργίας και Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής καλεί οργανισμούς και εταιρείες του Πρωτογενή τομέα, Τροφίμων και Ποτών να εκδηλώσουν το ενδιαφέρον τους για να συνοδεύσουν την Επίτροπο Hansen στην Υψηλού Επιπέδου Αποστολή στην Ιαπωνία (8-13 Ιουνίου 2025).

Good afternoon.
The Directorate General for Agriculture and rural development of the European Commission would like to flag a High Level Mission of Commissioner Hansen to Japan, 8-13 June 2025. The Commissioner wishes to include in his business delegation companies from all EU Member States, in particular SMEs with credible export capacity, but also large companies, including European and national producers’ associations from key sectors. This may include, for example, meat (beef, pig meat and poultry), processed agricultural products, dairy (with a focus on cheeses), wine, beer and spirits, olive oil, fruit and vegetables.
Could you please disseminate this invitation through your relevant stakeholder networks to attract attention of companies and organisations potentially interested in participating in the business delegation? Senior level representatives from both producer organisations and individual companies are welcome to take part. Participants are expected to attend the whole programme.
Commissioner Hansen will be accompanied by a delegation of up to 100 senior representatives of European companies/producer organisations of the agri-food sector. This trip will combine official meetings of the Commissioner with the relevant governmental counterparts, and promotion activities attended by the business delegation. The latter will include seminars on the characteristics of the local market and the consumer trends, retail and site visits, networking opportunities. The mission will also include a day at the World Expo in Osaka where the EU is present with a pavilion, and the Commissioner will open a high-level event where business delegates are invited to attend.
