Τhe Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development and the Frederick University, on Thursday, April 6, 2017, οorganised a seminar entitled “Moving Towards a New Energy Era Challenges in the Electricity Market.”
The conference keynote speaker was Dr. Andreas Poullikkas, President of the Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority, who analysed the global and European challenges and prospects of the electricity market. Mr. Andreas Maragkos, Chairman of the Board of EAC, in his intervention, analysed the power system in Cyprus and the challenges facing the EAC.
The OEB also participated with the intervention of Ms. Anthi Charalambous, Head of Energy & Environment Service, who presented, among other key issues on the topic, the situation in the EU’s wholesale and retail markets.
