Completion of a webinar on the circular economy and the European Green Deal

The Cyprus Employers & Industrialist Federation (OEB), the Cyprus of Circular Economy Network in corporation with the European Commission Representation in Cyprus, successfully organized a webinar on “Promotion of the Circular Economy and the EU Green Deal with special focus in the hotel industry in Cyprus and Greece”.

The President of OEB, Mr. Antonis Antoniou, addressed a greeting, referring to the importance of the green restart of the hotel industry and at the same time announcing the establishment of the Cyprus Circular Economy Network under the auspices of OEB. The main speakers of the webinar were Mr. Ierotheos Papadopoulos, Head of the Delegation of the European Commission in Cyprus, who presented the main provisions of the European Plan of Action for the Circular Economy, but also the ambition of the European Union. Ms. Anthi Christou Account Supervisor, MINDHAUS, presented the communication actions of the green policies of the hotel units around the world and Ms. Anthi Charalambous, Director of the Department of Energy and Environment of OEB, presented the results of the Hotels4Climate survey circularity of Cypriot and Greek hotel units.
