The Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) informs its Members that the Ministry of the Interior, in today’s announcement, informs all interested parties that, based on the relevant Decision of the Council of Ministers, the right to temporary protection to the Ukrainian citizens who have received such right in Cyprus, is automatically extended by one year , i.e. until March 4, 2024.
Therefore, those who have already received temporary protection, are not required to submit any new application to the Asylum Service or to issue a new biometric residence permit from the Department of Population Records and Immigration.
The beneficiaries of temporary protection who wish to submit an application for the first time, are still required to apply either electronically at the link found on the website of the Asylum Service www.moi.gov.cy/asylum, or in person at the main offices of the Asylum Service in Nicosia.
