The Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) would like to inform you that the UK government has updated the Border Operating Model with the EU, which will be implemented after the end of the transitional period, on January 1st, 2021.
In summary, the revised model includes the following changes:
- Obligation of carriers to hold a license (Kent Access Permit) to be able to enter the UK.
- Business and passenger guidance on how the UK-EU border works.
- The National Identities of the EU Member States will not be eligible for travel to the UK from October 2021.
