OEB had the honour to host the Environment Commissioner, Ms. Ioanna Panayiotou, in a lecture on “From the Linear to the Circular Economy – New Opportunities for Business” on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.
Ms. Panayiotou refered to the features of the new circular economy model promoted by the European Union and analysed the benefits and opportunities for business through the adoption of this new economy model for saving energy, money and other resources. The lecture was followed by a discussion about the ways circular economy model could be promoted by the state and implemented by businesses in Cyprus.
