The newly elected President of the Republic, Mr. Nicos Christodoulides, today paid a visit to the offices of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) in Nicosia and met with the leadership of the Federation during a regular session of its Executive Committee.
The Chairman of OEB Mr. Antonis Antoniou warmly congratulated Mr. Christodoulides on his election to the highest office of the country and wished him every success in the difficult task he is undertaking. At the same time, Mr. Antoniou underlined the outstanding semiological value of the meeting of the new President with OEB even before taking up official duties and assured him that OEB will stand by him to contribute to the achievement of the Government’s goals for the benefit of both the businesses as well as the workers.
Mr. N. Christodoulides expressed his deep appreciation for the decisive and positive role that OEB responsibly plays in economic, business, labour and all other issues that concern the country, and assured that he will seek close cooperation with immediately after the assumption of duties by his Government from March 1, 2023.
