The Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) will organize study visits to four hotels in Cyprus on November 2-3. The hotels are, Napa Mermaid Hotels & Suites, Faros Hotel in Ayia Napa, Amavi Hotel and Aliathon Resort, in Paphos. Representatives from the Cypriot, German and Greek Hotel Industry will participate.
This action is part of the project Hotels4Climate with the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Government and is implemented by a consortium consisting of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), the Institute of Greek Tourism Confederation (INSETE) and the public policy consultancy Adelphi from Germany.
The purpose of the study visits is to promote good practices that are already applied in existing hotel units to reduce greenhouse gas emissions which result in large savings per year in a hotel unit. Among other activities, there will be the opportunity for networking, exchange of new ideas, views for the implementation of good practices in other hotels. .
The project consortium invite you to participate in these visits as five representatives from the Cyprus Hotel Industry or stakeholders / departments will be selected to participate free of charge, with all expenses (meals, overnight and transportation) being covered by the program. The same applies for 5 hotel representatives from Greece and Germany.
