On March 2, 2017, held the annual general assembly of the Cyprus Association of Opinion Poll and Market Research Enterprises – SEDEAK (member of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation of Employers – OEB). The agenda of the assembly was focused on reviewing the activities of the previous two years, discussion and exchange of views on various current or ongoing issues and suggestions for improvements of the industry.
During the electoral process the following persons have been elected as the new Board of Directors of SEDEAK:
- Panayiotis Panayiotou (Pulse Market Research) – President
- Eleni Marangou (Cymar Market Research) – Vice President
- Christina Kokkalou (IMR) – Secretary
- Tassos Charalambous (RAI Consultants) – Treasurer
Other member companies of SEDEAK are: Conread Research, Retail Zoom, CMR Cypronetwork Marketing Research, Nielsen Audience Measurement, Noverna Research & Consulting and Blade.
The board has set new goals and priorities for actions to be achieved for the next two years, which include among others the upgrade of the market research and opinion poll industry and organizing events for value added for member-companies and the society in general. On this occasion the SEDEAK would like to state that its members adopt and follow internationally recognized methodologies and project processing procedures and they are bound by both internal, national and European quality policies such as ESOMAR.
